SHAWN LEVENTHAL is an entrepreneur and founder of Jump In Networks, a New York City-based entertainment company. He is the creator and executive producer of “Jump In” a gamified debate show about the news and partnered with Al Roker Entertainment and Madeleine Smithberg (co-creator of "The Daily Show") to market the show for digital and linear television distribution. Prior to this, Shawn headed business development for Worldview Entertainment where he worked on over a dozen films including Academy Award winner for best picture “Birdman” (Michael Keaton, Emma Stone, Edward Norton),  “Wish I Was Here” (Zach Braff, Kate Hudson), and “The Immigrant” (Marion Cotillard, Joaquin Phoenix, Jeremy Renner). Prior to joining Worldview, Shawn managed actors and writers with the boutique talent management firm Rogues Gallery Management.

Prior to this, Shawn ran the office of a senior member of the Texas House of Representatives and one of the Legislature's most respected experts on education, criminal justice, and voting rights issues – where he was responsible for helping create and implement the representative’s legislative agenda.  During Shawn’s stint, Rep. Hochberg was named one of best legislators by Texas Monthly. While in Austin, he performed improv comedy at the Hideout Theater and handled sponsorships for the Out of Bounds Comedy Festival. Prior to this, Shawn was Director of Policy Communication at the boutique communications firm Ttweak where he managed Natasha Kamrani's successful campaign for the Houston Independent School District Board of Trustees and was on the team involved in creating the TV and radio ads for Mayor Bill White’s re-election campaign. He graduated from Rice University in 2005 where he was a founding member of the James A. Baker III Institute for Public Policy Student Forum.  Shawn currently serves on the New York Board of Directors for the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE). Through NFTE, he mentors high school students starting businesses and was named NFTE New York’s 2014 Volunteer of the Year. In his free time, Shawn buys, flips and sells art and vintage furniture. He can be seen as a contestant during season 9 of the hit HGTV/GAC show Flea Market Flip.
